The app keeps buffering
Buffering usually indicates a connection issue. Try restarting your router, moving closer to your Wi-Fi, or switching to a wired connection. Apollo TV requires at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K streaming. You can also check if other devices on your network are consuming bandwidth and limit their usage while streaming.
I can't log in to my account
Double-check your email and password for typos, paying attention to uppercase letters and special characters. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen to receive a reset link. Make sure you're using the correct portal URL at portal.getapollo.tv. Still stuck? Contact our support team with your registered email address.
Channels aren't loading
Clear the app cache by going to your device settings, finding the Apollo TV app, and selecting "Clear Cache." Restart the application completely and check your internet connection by running a speed test. If specific channels remain unavailable, they may be experiencing temporary server maintenance — try again in 15-30 minutes.
Video quality is poor
Our service adapts video quality automatically based on your connection speed. For optimal 4K viewing, ensure you have a stable connection of at least 25 Mbps. You can manually adjust quality settings in the app by going to Settings > Playback Quality and selecting your preferred resolution. Lower quality settings can help if you experience consistent playback issues.
App crashed or froze
Force close the app by pressing your device's "Recent Apps" button and swiping away Apollo TV, then reopen it. If crashes persist, try clearing the app data or performing a clean reinstall — delete the app, restart your device, and install fresh from the app store. Make sure your device has at least 500MB of free storage space for optimal performance.
Playback errors or black screen
If you encounter a black screen or playback error, first try switching to a different channel and back. Clear your app cache as described above. Check that your subscription is active by logging into your account at portal.getapollo.tv. If the issue affects only one channel, it may be a temporary broadcast issue on their end.
EPG guide is not showing or out of date
The Electronic Program Guide updates automatically throughout the day. If listings appear missing or outdated, force close the app, clear the cache, and reopen. For the most accurate listings, wait 10-15 minutes after opening the app for the EPG to fully load. Some channels may have limited program data depending on their broadcast source.
Audio is out of sync with video
Audio sync issues are typically caused by network latency. Try switching to a different channel and back to reset the stream. If the problem persists, clear your app cache and restart both the app and your device. For persistent issues, check if your device's system audio settings need adjustment or try using external speakers instead of your TV's built-in audio.
