Installation Guide

Getting started with Apollo TV on Android TV is straightforward. Here's how:

1. Get Your Subscription

   Choose a plan from our pricing page. Your account details and setup instructions will be emailed to you immediately after purchase.

2. Access Your Setup Guide

   Check your email for the installation link and download URL, or log in to your portal at portal.getapollo.tv to access the Android TV setup instructions.

3. Install the Apollo TV App

   Follow the instructions in your portal to download and install the app. Use the Downloader app on your Android TV to easily sideload the APK.

4. Sign In and Start Streaming

   Launch the app, enter your login credentials from the welcome email, and enjoy unlimited streaming in stunning 4K quality.

Is Apollo TV on the Google Play Store?

No, Apollo TV is not available on the Play Store. After subscribing, you'll receive an email with your download link and installation guide. Existing subscribers can access these anytime at portal.getapollo.tv.

Does Apollo TV work on NVIDIA Shield?

Absolutely. NVIDIA Shield is one of our most popular platforms. The app takes full advantage of Shield's processing power for buttery-smooth 4K playback and fast interface navigation.

Can I cast from my phone to Android TV?

Yes. If your Android TV has Chromecast built-in (most do), you can cast content from the Apollo TV mobile app directly to your television.

Will it work on my generic Android box?

Apollo TV supports most Android TV boxes. If your device runs Android TV 7.0 or later, it should work. We also have an APK for standard Android devices if needed.
